As expected the Samsung Galaxy S4 has become the most popular device that is currently available, however many users have complained that a large chunk of the onboard storage is taken up by the large amount of software that is included on the device. There is an update which is due to be released that is expected to address this issue, but the improvement to the storage space will be minimal.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is the Korean manufacturer’s flagship device which is currently only available in a 16GB version. To many this amount of storage sounds ample, but due to the large amount of software that is incorporated on the model only 9.15GB of that storage is left which is why many consumers have complained. Samsung have taken these complaints on board and are due to release an update that should address this problem, but it doesn’t look like the update will have that much of an impact on the available storage. We will see the new update for the Samsung Galaxy s4 arrive in the very near future and it seems that German consumers will be the first to be able to download the update. There will be a gradual roll out of the update in the UK and other European regions. It has been suggested that following this update we will see more released that will improve the storage capacity on the model, however this is yet to be confirmed by Samsung. When the Galaxy S4 was first launched just over a month a ago the company also unveiled other versions in the form of 32GB and 64GB varieties.
